The Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network (CAAIN) 2024 Open Competition will support collaborative activities that bridge the gap between the development of new innovations in agriculture and their adoption in the commercial space.
CAAIN is committing $6M CAD in funding to support collaborative activities that will bridge the gap between the development of new innovations in agriculture and their adoption in the commercial space.
CAAIN is seeking applications for research and innovation projects that:
Though our submission date of August 9, 2024, has passed, we are adding a rolling intake to this competition. Should we have any funding available after assessing those projects we received by our initial deadline, we will consider other submissions.
CAAIN will not accept partial, incomplete, or late submissions. Applicants are encouraged to complete their submissions well in advance of the deadline.

The following timeline applies to this competition. Note that CAAIN, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to alter this schedule.
